Flowering Plant Gene Picker (fpgp) is an annotation pipeline for flowering plant genomes. Once you submit a DNA sequence, fpgp predicts exon-intron structures on the basis of full-length cDNA (FLcDNA) evidence, and simultaneously finds protein-coding regions in the predicted transcripts. Click on here to see a sample result.

This pipeline is quite simple. Following the four steps described below, you can send your request to our fpgp server.

1. Enter your E-mail address, so that fpgp sends you a confirmation email before proceeding to the annotation.
E-mail address:
2. Enter a single FASTA sequence or an accsession number of INSDC. A DNA sequence of >1kb and <1Mb is acceptable.
Enter a query sequence

3. Select "Monocot" or "Dicot" FLcDNAs to predict gene structures.
4. Select protein database(s) for CDS identification. Note that, if you include TrEMBL, this process may be time-cosuming.
